    Gelsoneve Chambres is a small (gay-friendly) family-run guesthouse located on the edge of a tiny village called Murci (under the jurisdiction of Scansano - GROSSETO) with a small garden where in the summer you can enjoy a cup of coffee. It is possible to take pets upon previous arrangement.

  • Location

    The location of Gelsoneve Chambres is of considerable appeal because the tiny village of *Murci* located in the area of production of the famous Morellino (the winery is a 15 minute drive from the house), it’s surrounded by forests and rivers and is only about 20 minutes drive from the natural hot springs and thermal baths of Saturnia (remember to ask for the shortcut to the owner when you visit); 20 minutes from the lovely medieval village of Roccalbegna, with natural springs and ponds hidden by woodland and rocks where to bathe in the Summer; 45 minutes from the Etruscan ruins of Sovana and the charming medieval village of Sorano where you can still visit the old castle; 45 minutes from the enchanting ancient town of Pitigliano nestled amongst the beautiful Tuscan hills; 45/50 km / minutes from the sea (Orbetello, Porto Ercole, Osa, Talamone).

  • Rooms

    four rooms, twins and doubles.

  • Prices

    20-30 euros per person per night (depending on the room, season, length of stay and number of people). Prices include the use of kitchen from 8 to 10 am and from 6 to 9 pm. No overcharge on single occupancy for women travelling alone. GO GREEN- Energy savings: Discounts of €2 a room per night are available for stays of less than 4 nights for those who bring towels and sheets, and €0,80 a room per night for longer stays .

  • Local delicacies

    Available upon request are small chests of local products, such as extra virgin cold pressed olive oil, Tuscan cheeses, jams, cantucci and wine. From Spring 2020 we will be working on the creation of a witches’ biological flower & vegetable garden for women by women which will be realised in the near future with the collaboration of all women who would like to participate. Participants and all our clients will be able to taste and enjoy the fruits of our work.

  • Female WOOFING

    During the periods of closure women and female students of all ages and walks of life are invited to stay for work in the land in exchange of room and board. We are particularly interested in exchanges with France.
